Yeah allow Connor to call the shots and pick and choose which buddies of his are kept around. How did that work with Nurse? This isn’t the NBA and LeBron James. McDavid isn’t the GM. He’s a player. Let management do what’s best for the team. Pickard is a good teammate and has had his moments with the team, but come playoff time that extra roster spot for a forward or defenseman will be much more valuable.
There are a few teams in the east I’d be a little worried they’d claim him. Especially the sens or flyers. Still think it’s just something you have to risk though
