  1. Double shifting your star player, whom the GM is openly shopping, – after a retool letter has been made public – is not only reckless, negligent, and total malpractice. It’s really, really asinine.

    Why are they double shifting Panarin and playing him 10 minutes in the third period of a completely meaningless game, risking injury and possibly torpedoing their own plans for the future? The number one priority right now should be keeping both he and Trocheck healthy. Not playing them both 22 minutes in a game that means less than nothing against Los Angeles. Can this team do anything right?
