As giddy as Patterson is about getting some form of "news", the actually story is that Foote protected his rookies and told his vets that being pouty isn't ok and that's it. Patterson is a jackal that gnaws at the underbelly of the BC sports sphere.
Worst combo I have ever seen for a hockey team: No grit, medium size, slow skaters, no success in puck battles as a 100 % dump and chase system, no time and space to make plays cuz the passing is the worst in the league, power play can`t gain the blue line, set up and make hockey plays, worst management group to build a competive hockey team. Allvin is fired and Rutherford retires in lieu of firing to save face. Half management group eaves also.. 🇨🇦
Keep Pettersson. The Center market is barren. If we draft McKenna or Stenberg, I want to at least see them with Pettersson before we give up on him.
What if one of those guys is the key? And we give him up RIGHT BEFORE we get them, and then we’re in the situation where they need a center to play with.
If he doesn’t work with them then ok, ship him out. But it’s too early.
