  1. Montreal wants kyrou but they are unwilling to give up top prospects for him, willing to give Roy or a late pick,if you listen to any of their podcasts

  2. Kyrou seems like a hockey trade in my view. Maybe not a one for one exactly, but something close. If the blues move Buchnevich in a separate deal, a Lafreneire Kryou swap could make sense. Lafreneire is a couple years younger and fits your open LW in your top six.

  3. Maybe we can get Bolduc back, because they are talking about sending him somewhere or AHL. Bolduc, a pick and a prospect

  4. Any trade with MTL would be a loss. Their top two D prospects (not in the nhl) have been hurt for huge stretches of the last two years. Their O prospects are shit except Hage (which is why they wanted this trade in the first place). So you would probably have to get draft picks. How much is the 23-27th overall pick really worth? I would say a lot less than what Kyrou is worth.

    Gotta let that shit go and look elsewhere.
