The ebb and flow of a long season. Ive been most happy with Kaprisov. Ive been very critical of him recently but he has definitely stepped it up with all the injuries.
Another great show guys. Just a couple of things the season is driving me nuts on. With the Olympics I cannot stand the extremely condensed schedule. I know all teams go through it but I believe the Wild are in the middle of a stretch of playing 5 games in 7 days. That is ridiculous. I watch a lot of NHL games on tv. The play is decent but not like it used to be. Players are tired which makes them even more prone to injury.
So do players go on IR to rest up for their Olympic Team? I would hope they are still loyal to their NHL team and fans first. They owe their livelihood to their NHL teams and fans. Getting injured in the Olympics would be disastrous.
Think Wild are still getting used to skating with each other now that Quinn the stud is here.
