Travis Konecny was in the Mcdavid/Eichel draft. Even though Mcdavid/Eichel are both great that was one of the best drafts to trade down in NHL history.
Marner 3rd overall. Rantanen 10th overall. Barzal 16th overall. Connor 17th overall. Travis Konecny 24 overall. Sebastian Aho 35th overall. Roope Hintz 49 overall. Kaprizov 135 overall.
Plus Hanifin came from this draft. The average NHL draft class is nowhere near this good.
The Knights GM/President should have fallen over laughing when Adin Hill's agent said he wanted 6.2 mill a year.
