  1. Sorry it took me so long to get this out I was making the video in between whistles and during the intermissions of the Red Wings game lol

  2. As a bruins fan, thank god Boston didn’t pay that much for him, we need to keep our picks and players, potentially sell a little bit

  3. Why do teams keep trading players to Vegas 😢
Personally I think a 1st and lorhei and likely another asset would have been better from Boston.
But most likely Anderson didn’t want to sign in Boston

  4. Great return for my Calgary Flames without no extension at time of transaction but of course it's Vegas.

  5. The VGK improved tactically, but may pay strategically. The VGK will not get a Bedard, Celebrini, or McDavid if they keep trading away first round picks.

  6. Vegas will always be a preferred destination for players
Stop crying and just put yourself in the players shoes and it will all make sense to you

  7. Love this deal for both teams. The only thing I have an issue with Calgary and it's a big if is if that rumoured Bruins package was true idk why they passed up on it but Poitras, Lohrei, and a 1st seems better but then again the Flames will probably be able to flip Whitecloud for a 1st at the deadline so it's still amazing value and that's if the rumour was true of course

  8. I know you have to give in order to get, but I really am going to miss Whitecloud in Vegas, he's been a steady presence and also came up big when he's had to.

  9. I can’t imagine a scenario where Vegas has not depleted their futures list. At some point, they will have to sell the farm to replenish. Unless I am missing something.

  10. There really are people that still dont know this is how Vegas is. There is also a group of people that think Calgary won this trade. Vegas gets a vet who can still get points and play defense. Calgary gets a struggling defenseman who doesnt score, a prospect who wont play in the NHL and 2 late round draft picks…..ill take the guy who can win now. Calgary wont even be a playoff team the next 3-5 years as it is.

  11. I really don’t get why players keep wanting to go to Vegas tbh they treat their entire team as expendable and there’s so many more team that have a better shoe of winning a cup

  12. As a vegas fan, it makes me smile seeing people seething about every trade vegas makes. "How do they have the salary cap" because we traded a guy worth the same.

"How do they keep getting away with it" because were saccing alot of futures. Its very high risk. No teams are willing to so that so they arent ever good trade contenders when trade talks begin.

Vegas runs a very high risk for potentially great returns and short term power. Its aggressive, risky, and definitely pure chaos.

I do not understand why vegas gets so much hate for making trades tbh. Are we supposed to just, not do what other teams are doing just because we do it better?

  13. Thankfully not Boston. Didn't want them making the east a tougher division than it already is

  14. Call me crazy, but this dont move the needle much for me. It still puts them solidly in 3rd or 4th in the west.

  15. I don`t think it`s a good return for the Flames.
Tight playoff race, pretty much the only top 4 RD available, with 50% retained and the return is a unsigned C prospect, a late 1st in 2027, a late 2nd a year later,
and a player that is rather a cap dump than an asset?
Whitecloud doesn`t have a good season, much like Kulak his play fell from a cliff and having negative xGf and xCF on a team like Vegas is though.
That`s not a lot at all.
Rumors are, there were better deals, but Andersson wanted to Vegas, and he will likely extend.
It gives Vegas the old pair of Hanifin – ANdersson, which was pretty good. Great move for Vegas.

  16. Definately happy with the trade as a Knights fan. Defense has been the biggest weakness due to the unrfortunate case of Pietrangelo and now we managed to land the best defenseman on the market. Andersson might not have the same defensive game or leadership compared to Pietrangelo but still a huge upgrade to our defense. Whitecloud has been solid but was expendable when eventually we were going to trade for a defenseman. We have always been very aggressive and some 25-32 range 1st rounders aren't really valuable whatsoever, because we usually flip our top prospects anyway. Wouldn't be surprised if we flipped like Connelly on a deal to acqure a center
