THe French didn't kick him out of the TdF. It was his OWN team!!! And guys, face it: when the OWN!!! team explels you than you must have just chemicals run in your veins… I mean, it can't be more obvious, if the people (his team), who would have benefitted by winning the TdF, is just overwehelmed by the intrenal evidence, that Rsamussen is a big time doper!
Michael Rasmussen has cheated the hole cycling nation, has have to stay away from cycling for the rest of his life. He couldn't have done what he did this year for just two years ago. The DANES did the wright thing. Mayby he showed will, but that was the will to win only by the use of drugs.!!
I thought it was unfair to remove Rasmussen from le Tour de France 2007, but when we are looking back now, it might have been the one and only thing to do. Rasmussen lied about his "whereabouts" and that ain't alright. I hope he is returning to le Tour de France in 2009 with Team CSC SAXO BANK though.
For fucking sake! Let's be realistic here. Ok, the fact is, Michael Rasmussen lied about his whereabouts to not show up for an doping control. What's the big issue in Cycling nowadays? Doping, exactly! So, how is it not fair to remove him from the yellow jersey when he lied. Wh would he not choose to show up if he was not doped? Tell me.. It was the right choice to make. Get him out of the sport forever. That includes everyone who is doped.
I don't think he's innocent, but we all have our views. But yes, ICO did right in removing him. I just don't think that he should be signed for any time whatsoever. The same for Basso, Zabel and all of them. If they are doped that is. And if they fail to show up on a doping control. There's a minimal chance that this beautiful sport will be retain it's honor.

Come on.. the guy is famous for two things.. being chucked out of the t de f, and the funniest time trial in history…

The Danish Cylcing Associacion expelled him from the National Team already BEFORE the TdF'07.
