   Great signing! No complaints here. He’s grown into his role with SJ. Very good 3rd line C who can also perform on special teams and 3 on 3 OT.

   And I’ve learned after both Karlsson & Hertl signed 8yr deals, that this really doesn’t matter. Though him re-signing & not being flipped is a good sign. Really like Wennberg. Hopefully he stays.

   I'm totally happy with this extension. Wenny has been excellent the last season and a half in San Jose. Very deserving of an extension, and a very reasonable deal & term. And how can you not love that look on his face. He wants to be here, and he's just over the moon happy that he's going to get to be here for 3 more years.
