Nevermind this season, Seider’s been one of the best defenceman on the planet since his Calder year. This year he’s entered the top 5 best d men in the league for sure.
Should’ve been the #2 overall pick in 2019.
Everyone says there should be a separate category for Defensive defensemen. Points should actually just not be in the conversation for Norris at all. Offensive defensemen shouldn't be given the main achievement for defensemen unless they are also among the best defensively

As a German: My dream is to come to America someday and watch an NHL game, ideally even with Seider on the ice, but the fans are really something else! The noise level in a library is louder. It's truly terrifying. Hopefully it's better in Detroit 🙂

The problem with most hockey fans is that they think points is the main stat to look at even for defenseman. +/- is a far better stat to go by especially for defensive d men.
