  1. From an outside perspective this steelers org just seems overly reliant on this boring brand of "consistency" or "tradition", this flashy attempt at showing off that you have this great culture, when in reality its just overly conservative passiveness. holding onto coaches far too long, refusing to let go or flip aging players into draft capital or younger, hanging onto or going after these old "veterans" to be the qb. Shit i dont like the steelers and have loved seeing yall be first round exits for the most part, but i think its bc of how unlikeable and dated this brand of football is, and yet how much the media talks them and Tomlin up. (Also "Big Rapelisburger" was a big reason). but it would be exciting to see the team modernize themselves offensively, make some flashier moves, get some younger fresh minds on the staff, tank a season or two and become
    a new team

  2. I'd just have gave him his 20th season but I do understand stand how Steelers fans feel but the not HOF argument is bs he's 100% a HOF

  3. I've been screaming that 4 in 19 seasons for a while now! You and Mark Madden are the only ones I've heard actually say it. πŸ‘ πŸ‘ πŸ‘

  4. This is the first video from this guy where he didn't seem fake as hell. Also about half the teams in the league would trade for that kinda consistenc.

  5. As a Titans fan I’d kill for 15+ years of 9-8 seasons. Steelers fans are just spoiled with success

  6. He’s going into the hall of fame . 201 wins Is still impressive . As a steeler fan, I will say this. It was time.
But let’s get ready for what comes next it may not be what we have been used to

  7. If I have any complaint of Tomlin it would be that he is too good. Too consistent. He managed to avoid losing seasons even with quarterbacks like "Duck" Hodges, Mason Rudolph, Kenny Pickett, Justin Fields, a washed up Russell Wilson! Any lesser coach would have had multiple losing seasons in there, and the resulting top ten draft picks! He will likely win a Superbowl somewhere else. There will likely be a lot of interest in his services, though he may take a break from coaching.

  8. This is what happens when you are spoiled and have no understanding of the fact that it is a marathon, not a sprint. I am 60 and have rooted Steelers my whole life. We have 6 SB victories while several others have one or two or none. Also, not going sub 500 for 19 years is a great accomplishment that many would love to enjoy. Lastly, we all fall in love with our own players and think that they are special, maybe, just maybe he has been getting the most out of what he has had? Yes, tough for the last few years and easily the killer B's should have done more, but bro it is what it is. New times coming and hopefully a SB win to get us to seven.

  9. I get being pissed but trust me there’s so much turnover in the league that just having a chance in the tournament is all some teams ask for I’m not saying he’s the best but I also look at the Steelers and their lack of awareness in getting Ben’s successor as a main factor u need to get that position right or u won’t win anything no matter who the coach is

  10. You look like someone who no one listened to in highschool and now you’re making everyone pay for it

  11. Sorry but 13 of the last 14 HC being offensive head coaches is just incorrect; Belichick, Carroll, Harbaugh, Tomlin himself, Coughlin, Billick weren’t offensive head coaches. I agree with your point/premise but you can make that point without making false claims
