Canucks should have traded ep 40 before his full no move clause kicked in now there stuck with him he can block any trade.
Every good player wants out of Vancouver. I wouldn't consider EP good anymore, well, comparing to his former self. Trade him away and give him the opportunity to find himself away from the hellhole organization otherwise known as the Canucks.
Good point about focusing on Roy's return to Vegas as opposed to a Marner narrative. Time to focus on current Leafs, not former ones.
The problem with Mitch within the Toronto fan base is that he did not know how to talk to the media and made the fans upset with his lack of accountability.
Marner was a great player for a long time in Toronto. The responsibility for the failure of this group is the management who built this team, They wouldnt fix it.
The Leafs will need a full rebuild.

The violence between Panthers and Lighting isn’t surprising. Their owners know that those fans have only seen ice in their bourbon. As a result those two franchises know they are primarily competing with WWE for their dimwitted fan base.

i live on the best coast and pettersson is constantly getting ripped in social media. he is actually playing pretty well this season while not getting much help from the wingers. i think he will get back to his former self with a fresh start.

Pettersson is going no place. Kampf ,Sherwood ,Myers, DeBrusk and Boeser might. Dallas or Boston for Sherwood, Debrusk Edmonton maybe, Myers Ottawa 4 rd, Boeser to NY Rangers for AHL guy and 2nd rd. We could see Cole Lind back in town. Kempf for 4th rd. Debrusk could end up in Toronto for Jacob Quillan and 4 th rd.

48:09 there was a lot of talk about what Sergei had said amongst us Detroit fans. I think 1) He kind of acknowledges there was a time that he was going to leave Detroit and it probably would have been a post lockout compliance buy out but that also means 2) there's a real shot the Red Wings win the cup in 04 if he stays; They were a monster team that season and ended up losing to Calgary in the 2nd round only after Yzerman took a puck to the cornea and scoring dried up. It also took him 5 years to get back to the playoffs after having played in the playoffs every year with Detroit.
I just wanted to mention since it was not brought up during the Mitch Marner discussion. There is a good reason Mitch no longer "felt comfortable here".
He chose to go public with his contract negotiations, push the Maple Leafs to make him one of the highest paid players in the show, under performed in the playoffs, treated the fans and the media as people trying to sabotage him, then after leaving he explained his decision by talking about the city he was raised in as unsafe and hostile to him and his family.
I loved many of the games I got to watch him play. He is a truly special player.
How he treated OUR city was classless.
P40 is not the issue here. His wingers are out for a skate or cant buy a goal. Montreal, Toronto, now Ottawa P40 did his job scoring and setting up his wingers with grade "A" scoring chances. The goalies have been average as well. If he goes to a team with centres where he can play wing like he should have been doing here in Vancouver he will flourish.
I love that CJ s kid hockey memories are the same as my finding hockey memories! I was a lil older but found the NHL fully in the 91/92 season.
Stetcher has always been underrated! We were dissapointed when Benning fell asleep the night he was supposed to re sign Stetch.
Canucks deserve everything thats happened to them. Trading Miller was dumb AF. And honestly they have a history of having great teams and then blowing them up when they don't win the cup… its a patheitc franchise and run horribly.
