  1. Holmstrom holding it down until Bo returns. He’s looking like he'll have a strong second half. Must be in the top 6.
Tony D has picked it up lately as well. Playing inspired.

  2. Simon is a fcking warrior!!!!! Seemed like a Holmstrom vs Hughes tn. One of the most fun games this year. Can’t believe we pulled the win out, after we were able to even it up at 3-3 i wasnt even gonna be mad if we lost. Wild had great puck movement. And was exciting but Simon just fought too hard for them lol

  3. I wanted to comment that I really liked that “puck movement” animation that you used on this podcast. I hadn’t seen it before and I hope you will continue to utilize that. It really helps to understand how the goals are scored. Thank you.

  4. Just one comment on Tony D – I don't know why he keeps on throwing the puck across the blue line to have it picked off by a defending forward and spring them for breakaways. Other than that, great game by him.

Sorokin – just out of words at this point.
Pulouck – Loved him taking out Kaprizov around the net in the final minute of the 3rd.
Pelech – almost same as above when he just bowled over the Wild forward to jar the puck loose to secure the point.

Once the team got to OT, I was like chips on the table. Amazing skating and puck control by Holmy in the OT. He has got the tools and if he puts it together consistently like this. Such a versatile player.

  5. Sorikan made some ridiculous saves! Without his fantastic goaltending I don’t see the islanders pulling out the win. Let alone getting to overtime for a point. LGI!
