Really won't mind if the flames did the danielson and a first thing. Not huge on nate, but high enough. Agree with pinder. Low cieling high floor.
Detroit makes a lot of sense for Andersson. The Wings have a ton of assets that the Flames can ask for (picks and prospects), and Detroit needs a d-man like Rasmus to solidify their d-core:
Edvinsson – Seider
Chariot – Andersson
Johansson – ASP
Putting myself in Yzerman’s shoes, for Detroit it’s probably gonna come down to whether or not Andersson agrees to an extension prior to the trade going through as apparently that’s why they didn’t pull the trigger on Hughes earlier this year.
My Sources tell me Andersen, Weegar, Kadri and Cooley to Edmonton for Future Considerations, Conditional draft Picks and an Undisclosed amount of Cash…..PLUS 1 Million Litres of Edmonton Tap Water to Help Relieve the Strain…..Stay Tuned.

as a Wings fan, Danielson and a 1st is kinda rich but with a solid extension in place it's interesting. no extension, no deal. detroit isn't in a position to spend big on rentals.
Ideal scenario is to trade Andersson, recoup the first and prospect then re-sign him in free agency.
If Detroit is offering that, you take it and you tell Andersson if (big of) he makes it to free agency, there will be an offer on the table waiting for him.
I know they need or want left d but I’d rather take Potrais or Dean Letourneau guys with high ceilings that are obviously not deleting off Bostons lineup. Letourneau is a big forward which is a need in the system and could be top six potential. Not mean at all however. Potrais is another small forward to add to the bunch so maybe not him

Lohrei isn't a good player and doesn't have a high ceiling. I dont really see why Boston does it.

If Detroit is offering Danielson and a first I would take it. The first could be really good if the return is a first and Micheal Backland 2.0 in Danielson for Rasmus Anderson i would like that deal for Calgary.

stat sheet watching would be the detriment of these guys as gms. danielson has a lot of tools and would be apart of a way bigger deal than andersson lol he got sent down because hes plastered on the third line right now with the top 6 fairly set apart from left wing on larkin's line, which isnt where you want danielson. if you got that deal you should take it and run

As usual the league knows the flames need to move him, he has trade protection holding it over them and the flames over value their players. At this point he is a rental for the flames. He just leaves in the summer for nothing. Atleast it's more free cap I guess

I don't like the idea of a 3rd line center. If we trade Kadri we still have Backlund, Kirkland, Beecher, Frost. Then we have Pospisil, Sharangovich and Zary who can or might be able to be a center. That's 7 then we have Kerins, Honzek and Reschny that's 10 do we need an 11th Center….NO NO NO unless he's a 1st or at least a solid 2nd. Now sure not all of these guys will work out at center but how will you know if you are playing Frost, Backlund, Beecher and only have 1 opening for the 6 guys you need to test. At this point I'd be asking Backlund if he wants to move to the wing and be sitting Beecher and Kirkland and moving Kadri.
Sing just resign him assumes that he wants to stay. He'll be gone at the end of the year. Dallas doesn't have the money to afford him. I'd say take what you can get
Anderson will want to resign with a team for 7-8 years at $7-8 million. He's 29. I've seen this movie before, and this contract will not age well in years 5 -8. I don't like this deal at all.

Anderson is NOT worth a 1st round pick. He's an over valued bum. Someone's getting fleeced if they pay a player and a 1st. I wouldnt pay more than a single 2nd round pick, then again I wouldnt be dumb enough to want Rasmus bottom pair Anderson.
