I rarely think that making a coaching change mid-season is a good idea. Most players despise big changes during the season. Especially in their personal lives… coaches make many decisions that effect exactly that.
Toughest year EVER to be in the East. Firing any coach is a desperation move. The 1st place Canes and TB could be out of the playoffs in 3 losses. Columbus is above .500 and you fire the coach?
