The biggest question that I have is why did they wait two days to call RHP up? Ville was sent down on the 8th and no one was called up to fill out the roster until the 10th. That's two days that RHP could have been in practice and possibly play in the place of Hayes in at least one of the games.

That was a very frustrating game. I don't have all the streaming so I have to wait until the extended game highlights are posted on YouTube, but from what I could see it looked like they couldn't even generate a legitimate scoring chance.
Poor coaching guidance…I don’t understand if the coach sees the team playing incorrectly, why not correct it?! If the players don’t listen, pull them for players who will. What’s the issue?
Hayes ibrings nothing and is non existent period. You keep playing him on any line and that line is crap. Novak is the next non existent player. He needs to go. They are the path to a fourth year without a playoff. It is just that simple. Both games 2 out of the 4 lines were not good. You simply cannot have half the lines be poor. One line you can manage two means losses most nights. The end of the story.
No reason to not put mantha brazeau and Malkin together makes no sense at all. If you had to play Hayes and Novak put them on the same line. That way only one line is bad. Not two.
It’s so weird to now see games where the Pens get good goaltending and lose, whereas there was a stretch where it felt like they scored enough but weren’t getting timely saves.
Silovs and Skinner had pretty good games, vs Flames and Bruins.
Muse had a tough job with lines, what actually do.. 4th line is constantly good ,all others were mostly out of sync..
You gotta be kidding about Chinakhov,to sit him while chasing 1-1?? We gotta play Chinakhov more, the kid is shooting, hustling on defense, flying all over the ice with speed and great skating.
Geno was turnover machine, just bad… Hayes probably played to reach 800th career games, out of respect. He wasnt that bad at all, not worse than many others.
The long stretches of stooge-like slop are inexcusable. I’ve coached squirts and peewees that had better puck movement, less stupid open ice turnovers, and zone management. WTH happens to them? It’s like a team that never played together.
Hayes is killing this team. Shitlovs is an awful backup. You only give up 1 goal, you should win. 1 goal in 2 games. Not a great trend. They are not a playoff contending team.

Malkin has been beyond awful. His turnovers are a serious problem. Kevin Hayes should not even be in the nhl. It’s a joke
