Leafs are having a real problem finishing off games. Last time they outshot an opponent in the 3rd period was Dec 23rd against Pittsburgh, the 1st win in the 10 game point streak (They were even in a couple of games, never more though). Shots might not mean a whole lot in general, but if it's happening THAT consistently, it probably means you're either lacking possession, or when you do have possession you're sitting back, not looking to make plays. Can't play like that against good teams.

Leafs should play the Knights 10 times a year. all those jam plays around the net are their weakness. Vegas just puts it close to the net and the Leafs fail.

They snatched defeat from the jaws of victory again. This should have been two points in the bank, not one. The Leafs are chasing teams with more regulation and overtime wins than they have, so they need to start holding on to leads and win in regulation if they expect to make the playoffs.
That 4th Vegas goal… I'm not sure what to think about that one. Yes, the puck was under Woll's pad. Yes, the guy actually pushed Woll OFF of the puck, which squirted out. Both of these points suggest goaltender interference. The question is, was the puck FROZEN? I'm not sure I'd agree it was. Hard to say, I think if I was the Leafs, I would have tried the challenge.
Tough loss in Overtime. Kind of a bad play at the end, Woll was left ALL alone.

the first PP-goal by Vegas clearly shows what i am saying all the time. on the Leafs-PP AM needs to be higher up for the onetimer. he is too close to the goalline. he needs a better angle.
