Vancouver is stuck with Pettersson the same way that Calgary is stuck with Kadri. The narrative that 20 teams want Kadri is soon going to be changing to "the Flames are keeping Kadri to teach the young guys to win". It's going to be a few more years before we recover from the Summer of Brad.

Pettersson, if traded, would want to go to a good team, as it’s 100% his decision. The combination of a team that has ~$12M available and also in contention is extremely rare, not to mention that team would have to have credible assets to give back. So I give it a less than 1% chance
