  1. Shame about the hand down. Every other element was exact and precise with great expression.

  2. Much improved! Not to be trite but, sometimes a new set of costumes after a season of struggle really helps reset your psychology, gives a fresh (re)start. The SP began with an excellent Twist, great height, full, clean rotation/catch. Happy to see the confidence and determination in the perfectly timed sxs 3Toe. SxS Spin was lovely. Death Spiral was very nice, both had excellent positions. Technical issue on the Throw being 2 footed and a hand dow, but she regained her balance and stayed on her feet showing good fight. Overall, well done. One thing really stood out for me, was their timing and comfort with the element placement has improved, everything is now on the musical accent/highlight. Very impactful. I loved this SP performance👍👏👏👏

    Thank you for posting this.

  3. Overall a strong performance. This is the first time this season that I actually like this SP. I heard that Deanna's dress is an Oscar de la Renta. If it's true then I hope the designer donated the dress, because I can't imagine the cost to buy one.

  4. Canada should be thanking US Figure Skating High Performance Director Mitch Moyer for advising Deana to pursue pairs skating.

  5. Is it necessary to say Canadian pair? It's the Canadian National Championships, of course they are Canadian 😂

  6. That's an incredibly generous score considering the one error. They otherwise looked very confident and relaxed, which bodes well for the Olympics!

  7. Maxime nailed that side by side! Im so happy for him 👍💗😀. They are going to do great things at the Olympics. Standing O but dont forget the rest of Canada loves you too. 🙏🍁

  8. Love the dress. Hope she wears it at the Olympics and skates for gold. I'm glad the performance was not perfect here so that they have something to continue to strive for.

  10. Sometimes I come here just to read the ( ridiculous ) comments. It’s amazing what people think is worthy of your attention

  11. I don’t care what anyone has to say about this woman she’s doing something that most woman her age can’t. She’s literally showing the world that age doesn’t defy you nor does it mean your dreams should come to an end. Thank you for being an icon and a legend for the world to see. May you get your wish girl! Best of luck all the way to the Olympics!
