I'll be one of the first to acknowledge that I wasn't pleased with the Zetterlund trade at the deadline last year. I felt that Z has the potential to be an impactful middle 6 winger on a Sharks team that a few years down the road would be a playoff team. I don't think that Ottawa has done Z any favors with how and where he's been deployed, but Ostapchuk has really impressed me this year with how he's developed and how his game has grown in 2025. I still am not thrilled with that trade, but as Chuk continues to progress and evolve as is very obvious in the video here, my dislike of that trade to bring Zach here is nowhere near what it was in the aftermath of the move 9ish months ago. I'm hoping Chuk continues to develop and can become a difference maker on that 4th line in key moments.
