Just need our scoring, especially secondary scoring, and goaltending to start clicking again. Goaltending has kinda been awful lately.
Agree with the need for secondary scoring. Why can’t Foligno, Sturm, Hinistrosa, etc. get on a pace to put in 6-10 goals for the season?
Thanks, Kirk for the report. Overall Wild performance will be a factor if Quinn Hughes re-signs. He has made an impact already. I don't think his preference of going to the Redwings is a concern. In the near term, I hope they get the offence going again.
In my humble opinion, I believe that Kaprisov, Yurov, Ericksson Ek, Boldy, Hughes, Faber, Lambos, Hunt and EITHER Gus or Wally are untouchable. Everyone else is expendable to acquire a #1 Center.
Bogosian, Foligno, Spurgeon Zuccarello, retiring at the end of the season (age & injuries) opening up cap space?????
Use what you have to, to go get the Hughes brothers. Make all 3 of them happy and maybe they will sign for less $$$$ to be able to play together.??
No fun watching Wild self destruct every night lately, they seem to be out of gas in the 3rd period, too much checking and boarding? Too much time on ice? Coach better figure it out soon or Bill will trade away good pieces. Totally against trading the Wall for anyone but a #1 young center.
They need a center. They have 0 chance without one.
