Compared to other venues nearby (US bank stadium or target center in Minneapolis) the prices and waits for concessions aren't even bad at all. It's obviously still more expensive than buying it somewhere else but that's not new (other sporting events, movie theaters, etc.).
As a lifelong Minnesota Wild fan, If you don't like the Xcel Energy Center you are the problem. That place is a hockey mecca and no state in the union has a bigger and better hockey tradition than Minnesota.
The only reasons it got these reviews is because of the money. But the Minnesota Wild have the best fan base and it is an unbelievable experience attending a game. The state of hockey will never disappoint.
