He hesitated and it cost him. Bouch was also just in lala land twice on that play.
Was comparing him to Ingram all night. Ingram came from playing a bunch of ahl games where the defencive follies and give aways are probably more plentiful . Ingram may be more skilled in dealing with the oilers style of defence
Ingram Picard tandem get a 5 mil defender for Jarry
Jarry had to go out and play the puck because Bouchard wasn't the hell going to do it.
Well you got Bouchard becoming lost and sleepy again as 2 preds are skating past so jarry prob thought he needed to play D
If he was going to go out and play the puck then he better actually play the puck and not just take himself out of position
Go full Hasek
Jarry was garbage
I think Nuge-Rosie-Walman could work for 3 on 3
It was okay. Not great. I don't blame him for this latest play. He's an agressive goalie, he's known to play the puck hard and create changes and break aways. I'd blame Kris and the longer shift over Jarry. It's his first game back and he perform as good as he could. Made some big saves, almost created a break away… Then again, the terrible Oiler fans will do what they do best, and call for a new goalie 4 games after they got a new goalie.
Can we also talk about Hyman along the boards by the blue line in our zone? He almost always gets jammed up right before he leaves the zone and turns the puck over. It’s like clockwork.
Not his fault. Frik off if you think it is
I feel for Jarry. But I ask myself would I have gone out of the crease to play that puck? Answers no 😆! It's also just 1 game from the 6 million dollar goalie that the Oilers didn't really need because they got Connor Ingram. Oiler fans should be used to wasting money. I can still see Jarry getting better as the season progresses so I wouldn't worry. Anything's better than Skinner.
Jarry isn’t even as good as Ingram get rid of this Goaltender Pronto!
GO PREDS!!!
Classic oiler fans pinning it on goaltending lol
wtf what a dumb goalie move !!!!!! so sloppy shades of skinner.. This goalie is no better.. BAD !!!! and he is injury prone.. BAD decision to take him in; keep Pics and Ingram
This isn’t jarrys fault, he stopped the breakaway. It’s a tired mcdrai and bouch fault for trying to play entire 5 mins ots and not being able to keep up to the play.
With boucard he's gonna be seeing a lot of that.
While the new style of goalie pads twisting and moving on a tends legs may be better for saving pucks there knees and hips. Match that with 3 x high blades compared to skates of old, you have goalies that are far less capable of skating out with any speed or agility. The players are 10x faster than they were a decade ago and the goalies look 10x slower then a decade ago.
They play those guys way to much
He should went harder .. it was great game.. mcdavid and draistal should of let fresh players play l.. shift was waaayyyy too long .. was exciting game back forth good saves good goals .. jarry played good enough if players didn't play too long..
Goalies know that’s the risk when you go for a stroll. He gambled and lost.
Its the freaking coach keeps shuffling 3rd line
ah yes everyone is quick to blame bouch but not McDrai on that horrible back check
Yeah, if you're gonna leave the crease, then get the job done. Don't pull back at the last second.
That last goal only sort of was his fault. I don't blame him. But overall you can look at his save percentage. Just reminds me of Skinner. Ingram on the other hand has been amazing!
The way we’ve been playing, ain’t no way we are making it to cup final for 3rd year
