  1. I don’t think he’s ready he still needs to grow and develop, and I don’t think you throw him in against a tough physical team in the playoffs like Columbus, they work hard and can throw the body, an 18 year old isn’t going to be able to deal with it, nevermind that he hasn’t even played in the NHL yet. I like what Keefe said: just because you scored 50+ in the OHL, doesn’t mean you just get it handed to you, you need to earn it and prove yourself. I can’t wait to see what he does though, him, Matthews, Marner, Tavares, Nylander, Riley, etc. it’s a good core. Just wait until they gotta pay Robertson

  2. Please please please bring up all your young players and ruin any potential they would develop. The leaf's will always be overrated and over covered by media.

  3. Whinin Willy Melander will be useless in the playoffs again. Especially if he's playing with Matthews & Hyman. He needs to play with JT. JT does all the heavy lifting for him.

  4. Nylander will disappear when the opposition starts finishing their checks. Just watch how ineffective he is against Columbus.

  5. With the contracts on that team,a lot of 18 year olds are gonna start"earning their way onto the roster"

  6. Leafs media is ridiculous. The kids 18 and hasn’t played a second of pro hockey. It would be detrimental to the team to let him debut in the playoffs.

  7. If Nick plays it will likely be in replacement of an injured winger. That or Leafs are down 2 games to none and are desperate for a spark.

  8. 18 year old Nick Robertson is a great 18 year old nhl ready player, he has showed his 18 year old skill off very well for an 18 year old and I believe 18 year old Nick Robertson will crack the leafs roster at 18
