Tom decides to speak on the Devils playing like how “they should play” after a win against Minnesota, but in reality. The first half of that game was dictated by the Wild and the Wild got super unlucky missing the net on a plethora of chances. The game could have been 5-1 Wild after half the game if not for them missing the net. The Devils don’t have a culture or system for that matter. We know the Avs are fast and forecheck hard. We know the Canes system is to forecheck you into the ground. We know the Oilers are a rush team and a specials team type of team. The Devils throw a bunch of slop onto the ice and hope for the best. And that’s why when injuries happen which they will to every team, the devils can’t plug in random players and succeed because there is no system or culture. It feels like they toss guys on the ice and say “have fun and Try your best” type of gameplan which never has worked in the NHL. Disgraceful team after being known for so long as being super hard to play against 😂. Team is garbage
how many games has marky totally killed within the first few mins this season , love the guy but he doesnt give them a chance to win EVERY night, maybe like 20% of the time
