  1. I know you can’t overwork Vlady, but with the standings so tight it’s tough to throw games away by playing Sam

  2. Sometimes I have a hard time believing Tocchet always set the club up for success being a day off between games and he goes with the worse backup in Ersson. I have no confidence when Ersson is in and I believe the team has no confidence that if they make a mistake that Ersson will make a timely save. When Vald is in the team has more confidence and will push the tempo to try and win the game. Tampa is a dangerous team and are playing great hockey right now.

  3. Konecny is out, Brink is out, Drysdale is out, Foerster is out, Ersson is in, and it's Tampa Bay? This is a scheduled loss.

  4. Look at it this way, if we lose this game with Ersson we still have a chance to win the next one with Vladar. If Vladar loses tonight, then there's no way Ersson wins

  5. Poor coach, has to answer the same thoughtless dumb repetitive questions every press conference.

“What’s the thought process losing a player like Konecny?”

Next man up gets a chance to show something. It’s a team full of role-players who work their ass off as a team. That’s why they’re good this season. Zegras is their most skilled player and he’s 35th in the league in scoring. Vladar is outstanding. They have depth. They earn points sometimes when they shouldn’t.

Fun to watch a team with low expectations grow.

  6. Flyers have been overachivers for the last 50 years. Not going anywere until they get elite talent which they have not had since Lindross. Fitting Flyers coach is the poster boy for overachivers. But overachivers are sometimes unpredictable, they wil make the playoffs and then do what they do best, make the playoffs every year and go nowhere. At least Vladar is decent. Maybe in 10 years Flyers will make a run.
