That Red Wings defence and Gibson are a WALL. That said, pretty uncharacteristic bad game from the Habs. Gibson was never really troubled by screens, TONS of shot attempts that missed the net, defensive mistakes from the top pairs and Fowler having his first off night. Red Wings are a contender and Habs needed to be in top form to even have a chance to win. They weren't.

Detroit’s Defense and Goaltending were great. I don’t think it’s fair to say Montreal got goalied because the Defense did a phenomenal job this game. Very good game by Detroit.
