Everything about the Winter Classic experience was awesome. Except for the game itself lol. That wasn't really fun to watch. Really enjoyed everything else about it though. Too bad we couldn't play better. I don't know if or when we'll get another shot at one of these events. Road doesn't get any easier from here on out though, and we can't afford a losing streak. Hope Jonesy is alright too
Definitely wish we played better. Not for the lack of not shooting the puck on net… It seemed that we were definitely neutralized & dominated once Jonesy was out for the rest of the game. Definitely need to bring out the blender & change some of the lines not because they're not working but because it's becoming predictable for the opposing team. So back to the drawing board for some of the plays.
Have to say, and I hate to be negative as I know the Cats are dealing with a lot of injuries and having to play a different style. That being said, the power play is atrocious and it looks like they can’t get the open ice like they used to. The players tonight looked like they didn’t know what to do and doing basic things like clearing the zone has look lackadaisical. Also annoying when you have a 2 goal lead you still end up losing the game (happened at least 4 games this season).
I’m hoping I’m wrong with what I’m stating and hope they can turn it around this season as we get more players back. Who knows, maybe we’ll be a team that’s on a 15-game win streak going into April.
Some issues here and there with the atmosphere and even the immersion of the event, but definitely a special event for the NHL and especially for SoFlo. Enjoyed everything all around when it came to the crowd from both fanbses and I felt that it all had a solid contrast between winter and the hot climate traditions of the state. Of course the results weren't what we wanted, but can't take anything away from the enjoyment of the event. Hope they take some valuable lessons from this game and continue forward on the right track. Also, hoping Jonesy is all good, last thing we need now is another long term injury.

The story is the absolute underperforming shyt the Panthers have been this season. Despite the injuries they should still be better than what they are showing so far. It’s embarrassing really

Embarrassing. The fact he has anything positive to say adds to the hurt. Someone needs to get the message across to these guys that they aren’t giving enough
What I really liked was the beach set up fake snow and the benched players sitting near the bench
We played like shit. There was nothing fun about this game nor experience.

The absolute worst game I’ve seen the 2 X’s Stanley Cup Champions play, Did they just let the Rangers win? The Rangers were Slashing, Hooking, and forechecking hard all night. @ 4 to 1 then pulling the goalie 😳😡🫣, WTF 🤬 was that some kind of a sick joke? What are the OWNERS doing to piss off this team 🧐🤨, not renewing their contracts or something???
Definitely impressed with the quality of the ice. The game looked pretty fast and they didn’t show any issues with it. Great job by all involved
