Winnipeg Jets defenceman Haydn Fleury has been transported to hospital via ambulance. He was fully alert and moving his extremities upon departure. The team will provide more information when we have it.
😬😬😬 that’s gonna be at least a day in hospital. Neck/upper back definitely took the brunt, plus probably a good bet on a concussion and obviously gonna be very sore/swelling/bruising. Hope it’s better than it looks, but damn that looked bad.
Edit: other sources online confirm he at least has a busted nose, further testing ongoing. That explains the blood on the ice.
