The Sens season is going similar to the season of my favorite German team. It is so refreshing that you say it how it is. It infuriates me so much that in the German commentary they are always blaming injuries, and say “oh the season is still long, it will get better”. Like fuck, it’s January already and they are playing like they are lazy and blind. Sad as the Sens season is – the calling out and honesty in this podcast is so refreshing! 🇩🇪
The Sens forward lines in terms of who's playing with who isn't the issue at all. The issue is they pass up constant good shooting opportunities for dumb passes and holding pucks too long they make it easy on defenders. If I'm Travis Green the next game I'm telling the guys if you don't get a shot on goal on a 2 on 1 you're missing your next shift they have to have more of a shooting mentality in these high danger chances

Funny thing is whenever our goalies shut the door all of a sudden we can’t score.
Sens always seem to play a visiting team AFTER losing to Team Blue and/or the Habs. Colorado lost 2 prior to playing Sens as did Florida…now it is quite probable that the Canucks will be in similar situation

The Sens must realize that the Defense must do their part and not dump the load on the golie. Other wise the new move will back fire.
I think G is on a 12 game point streak.. probably hoping to get that line going.. I think that line probably could use G for faceoffs as well.

At the beginning of the year Giroux said it was going to be hard to make it back to the playoffs. He was right!
We appear to need two new goalies. Reimer plus one more vet. IMHO
Agree with Pilsy about the lines. Is it any surprise the Sens look totally disorganized when the lines change almost every shift? A little hard to create chemistry. Let's go back to the lines that worked before and then tell the players to F'en shoot the puck. Yes, Zetterlund's goal was greasy, but guess what, that kind of thing happens when you shoot on the net. I do feel I should comment about the Ullmark at the rink discussion. You guys can't use the caveat that you don't know what he's going through to then trash him for showing up at the rink. You DON'T know what he's going through and being at the rink could be part of the recovery process (whether it's physical or mental). I highly doubt it's helping him if he has to listen to crap like that along with all the other BS speculation we're seeing.
What kind of fan base is this? Did Ullmark's wife divorce him? The players want him off the team he betrayed the brotherhood. But you Sens fans want to pretend there is no elephant in the room?
Don't know how obvious it is that mixing up the lines makes it hard for guys to get chemistry and click. Gotta get some consistency for them to work together.
What really needs mixing up should be the D pairs.

I like putting Stutzle and bath back together. They played really well when Brady was gone.
Cool so we had four shitty goalies, one of whom is on leave. Now we have four shitty goalies and a hateful, bigoted POS and is still a shitty goalie to boot.
We are cooked might as well try to enjoy the games as much as possible and dream of next year…..
Pillzy, we’ve gotta talk about that panic button philosophy.
Panic moves don’t mean the season is over. It means you’re terrified that a bad thing is about to happen. I don’t panic after I get punched out by Mike Tyson, I panic when someone says I’m really going to have to get into the ring with him.
The team is panicking. Signing Reimer to PTO was a panic move when the guy hasn’t played an NHL game this year. Signing him to a NHL contract after he stinks up the AHL with 6 goals in a game is a panic move. The team is so terrified about their other options that James Riemer seems like a good choice.
Pillzy, this season is off the rails. You’ve gotta hammer that panic button man. Before the season is out of reach, not when we’re formally eliminated from the playoffs.

Reimer has lots of experience and wisdom. He played for eight different NHL teams and had 90% save percentage for most of his career. Merilainen had a 92.5% save percentage last season. Reimer will hopefully give valuable advice to Merilainen to help him achieve his full potential.
Ullmark was supposed to save the senators in the crease , they shored up defense and scoring by signing young stars to long term contracts ,and i thought OMG Ottawa can get into the playoffs and compete to go to the second round. Now i feel like a Maple Leafs Fan. Shoot me !
If you can't win with these guys then get rid of the bad apples , bad coaches and sing another star in the off season. losing that 1st rounder is going to hurt.
Imagine thinking Ullmark could save this pathetic franchise
