  1. @beatle11 That's all on the linesman that's down in the zone. There was no icing, you can see the back linesman wave it off. If the linesman looks back, he sees his partner, he isn't in the zone and they're not both flying in to get it. Simple communication.

  2. @dstevenson76 Yeah, but if they had no touch icing, there wouldn't have been this issue to begin with.

  3. @dstevenson76 The players didnt know there was no icing, because the linesman next to them was going to call it, he waved it off only when Steckel touched the puck, if there was no-touch icing they would have known it was not icing when the whistle was not blown, and this incident wouldn't have happened.

  4. @sweeper27 There really is no "Home" Jersey. Just a few years back the white jerseys were considered the home jerseys so its not really all that surprising.

  5. I NEVER say this…I'm always the guys sticking up for the hitters, I think the new NHL is a pink joke…but this was a dangerous dirty play.

  6. @Kratrz he went down to his knees for sure, but he would have hit the boards with his side/padding, as opposed a neck/shoulder collision

  7. I have to give it to the rangers. After Phaneufs, Schenns, And steckels hits they did not go after them or try to injure them.

  8. I think Steckels knee hit him right in the face after he bounced of the boards …

Sickingly painfull experience that must have been. Little concussion, maybe he feared for his career. DelZ rocks O>o
