  1. "A thinking hockey player is a slow hockey player" …. that's what was still impressive about Levshunov when he wasn't playing great. He thought himself into an "oh sh*t" moment every time he had the puck, and then his raw talent and instincts were good enough to bail him out 95% of the time lol

  2. Kevin Korchinski will be one of the few 1st round draft picks by Kyle Davidson from 2022 – 2025 that will not pan out, especially as a No. 7 pick in the 2022 NHL draft. Everyone had Korchinski as a top 10 pick because of his exceptional number of assists and ability to skate and quarterback a power play. However, after nearly four years it is fair to say that his skillset does not translate well to the NHL. In fairness to KD, he had an exceptional 2022 draft, picking Frank Nazar six picks later, then selecting Sam Rinzel at No. 25 and Ryan Greene at No. 57. Unfortunately, Korchinski has very little trade value and hoping something clicks in the next 1-2 years remains the best course of action.

  3. Can I say it is like watching a blooper in slow motion. You wanna see progress with Kevin, but I am not seeing it. I will play devils advocate and ask, what happens if Korchinski chases after McMichael? isn't the trailer than exposed? I enjoy the break downs. Keep this up!!

  4. meanwhile Levshunov would've been halfway down in the O zone then turn the puck over, none of our D prospects seem to be working out.

  5. Hawks laid an egg in this game. Whole team didnt show up. And wth is wrong with Knight his last 8 games??? Cant rely on Soderblom rest of season. WAKE UP HAWKS!!! Not blaming this game on Kochinski

  6. Korchinski maybe plays out like exHawk Gus Forsling – young guy you could tell has talent but didn't / doesn't work out w/ his first club, gets moved and THEN things "click." My takes is the young man just doesn't have the, "want to" Hawk rooks of past have had – Hartman, Hagel and presntly Oliver Moore. Time will tell … Still cheering for a last chance he "gets it" moment before … GoHawks.

Btw Judging from those annoying, "GB sux" cahnts last night I may be one of the only watching hockey tonight, but i will be puckGods willing …

  7. Halfway through the season and most REAL Hawk fans wondering when this team learns & develops PUCK POSSESSION in their own zone????

  8. Korch's man was the puck carrier in front of him. Grze should have had the guy streaking up the middle. This wasn't on Korchinski.

  9. Lol. This isnt on KK at all. Gryz was alrwady turned and should have had that guy streaking. KK man was the puck carrier he was facing.

    Pretty foolish.
