If I sound like a homer, so be it. So who’s 80 percent of what Evan Bouchard in the offensive zone, but really good in his own zone? The answer is Miro Heiskanen, who very good in his own zone, and good in the offensive zone. He runs the main power play, and he’s effective with either passing the puck or shooting it. Does he make mistakes, yes, however not those types of mistakes that cost you games. Plus, the effort that Heiskanen puts in compared to Bouchard isn’t even close.
You should start a segment where you look at blunders around the league and make fun of them. You can call it "Bouche Bombs!" with his expression clipped from 1:31 as an intro. You now have material for years to come, unless he himself gets sent down, which might make it even more funny.

The giveaway was bad but wtf are the rest of the Oilers doing on that play? Get your ass back deeper into your zone and be a better passing option…all three Oilers players turned away from the play BEFORE Bouche had enough control and was ready to make a pass…Bouche looked up and all his passing options were in poor positions…also credit Buffalo forecheck, they sent 2 men in aggressive forecheck, Oilers other D and winger need to get back and slow the Sabres guy down or get in his way.
