Our FIRST Guest, Corey Perry | Scrum Culture

Ask and you shall receive! The Gents invite future Hall of Famer, the longtime Anaheim Duck and current LA King, Corey Perry into the Scrum! Nate reconnects with an old friend and teammate, Brian shares the joys of being at the rink with a fellow hockey dad and Hammer asks the hard hitting questions like – how are you going to win the fanbase over? We’re in El Segundo, CA this week at Kings HQ. Thanks for swinging by, consider staying for a bit, bring a friend next time, it’s chill. Let’s get in the SCRUM!

  1. Seeing Nate and Scorey in the same room reminds me of seeing them when they were ducks 🥲 Loved the interview…Especially at 20:15 hearing Corey talk about the way he views the game when he's out there sheds so much light, and makes so much sense when you see him do his thing. Awesome stuff

  2. For me as a Kings fan, I hated Perry because he was so good, and could get away with a lot of sh!t. As a hockey fan, I always loved him for what he could do on the ice. And now as a King, I love him even more.

  3. Kings fan here…. Still not happy about this trade. it’s just tough seeing him in a Kings Jersey. Maybe it will grow on me…. Maybe lol

  4. This is great, but when is Ryan Kelsey gonna be on the show? Thats what the people want. Kelsey. Not Kesler.

  5. Corey Perry is my favorite player and Duck of all time, I'm so happy he's still killing it and a stud he's gonna play until he's 50 I swear

  6. Kings fan here, in a complicated relationship with liking Corey Perry. Always respected him, often hated him, but never a lack of awe for his incredible grit and determination to get a win on the ice. He's def a POS, but he's OUR POS now and we love him for it. Plus he brings that old school style hockey back to the Kings, posted up in front of the net, doesn't take shit from anyone. I think he said it best with his adaptability being the thing that's kept him in the NHL this long. Hats off to one of the greatest players of my generation.
