Have we learned nothing from the Fletcher era about giving away picks/prospects for aging vets especially when the Wild are still 2-3 players away from being legit Cup contenders even if they acquire Malkin? This is most likely Malkin's last year in the NHL. Even if he plays for one more year he's still a shell of his former self. I'd give up a 2nd round pick or a mid prospect. If Pittsburgh wants more I'd tell them to go take a hike.
