Almost 30 years later. I still remember watching this go in. As a Nordiques fan… 10 years old… That run to the finals I was going crazy for every goal, every win… but this goal I sat there and stared in silence. Staring at the TV. Being in flow. Knowing to take it all in. Pure joy.
And now 28 years later, the Florida Panthers are Stanley Cup champions
Finally, On June 24th, 2024 the Florida Panthers defeated the Edmonton Oilers in 7 Games.
Hurt like hell to see and remember it…
Until now when the FLORIDA PANTHERS finally have their franchise name on the greatest trophy in all of sports. I only wish the 2024 Stanley Cup Final was against Colorado, just to complete the journey.
