Hoping Max Plante's injury is pretty minor…my cope is that US would have done better with him in the lineup. Not a hard case to make really though with his play at UMD. He's a "hockey player" through and through, he and Genborg should be able to make the jump up to the NHL quicker than some.

Sending nate down is probably best for him, he doesn't need to learn how to play lazy defense from a few of the centers in the wings lineup right now, and yes hes struggled with the physicality and making hard clear outs of the puck while along the boards, something the entire team seems to struggle with, but something that has been very noticeable with his game. He clearly has the best hands out of all their prospects, but his awareness isnt great at the nhl level yet, and hes just got to get physically stronger to play the style he does at the nhl level which is puck possession and distribution.
How does the waiver situation work?
Something I have noticed with all the young Wings, they play hard but seem to have zero creativity or dangles…I am not sure if it is them, the type of player they scout, the system, player development, or the culture. Kasper, Danielson, Finnie all just seem to skate directly at the goalie and shot the puck into his chest 9/10

The reality is there are recent first round picks around the league that are significantly contributing and shining. Danielson & Kasper arent two of them. The Wings need these guys to become more than average NHL players. Can they ?? The jury is still out but it’s definitely an issue that affects the rebuild.
Now I wonder when my decline started. Did Scotty's decline even start yet?
Great show guys and your take on Danielason being unnoticeable. My concern about the Wings is not so much hoiw the roo0kies are performing but how the team is doing in atreas such as puck control, winning the battles in the corner, and scoring and defense lapses. Thank you guys. Ray L
Nate Danielson won't be a bust, but I hate drafting guys like this at 9. You don't draft bottom six players at 9. I acknowledge t was a tough draft for centers though. The problem is the combination of Kasper and Danielson in back to back drafts. They really have no chance at being top line players and nobody projected them to be that. You have to aim higher with top 10 picks. At least that's my opinion.
Been saying this about Nate since last year. He plays the game the right way structured, responsible, does his job but he’s not gonna jump off the screen every shift. Still had some real sneaky assists in Grand Rapids if you’re paying attention. And just to clear it up, Tralmaks is a winger. Thanks for the shoutout Brian!

I don't think the Wing's bottom 4 defence are that bad, I think the bottom 6 forwards don't play well in the defensive zone.
Thinking these young pups Yzerman brought up are just stale, need nurturing , Sandin looks lost at times and a -18 yikes…don't get me started why Kasper hasn't been sent down. He just isn't what we thought he would turn out to be.
Why isn't Russia in the Olympics? They're not allowed to invade another country but the US is? If one is out then both should be out.

Oh no Brian, you're thinking to much here, i appreciate the effort here though for us swedes in here, but… It most definitivly is NOT pronounced "jeenbury"… Think how pronounce Geen (like in Ed Geen) is closer to the first half of it, but with a bit harder G. The last part is simply "Borg", not sure where you find the "Y" in… So yeah, basically "Jeen-Borg". Not overly complicated really. #lgrw
