I know Canadians hate the entire Tkachuk family because Matthew has kept McJesus from winning his Cups, but that’s clearly a sucker punch. Gloves on, holding his stick, being held by the ref and looking down ice at the play and Stanley drops his gloves and punches him. Tkachuk gives no indication that he’s willing to fight and Stanley hits him anyway. Hate the guy all you want, but that’s a sucker punch and that’s why Stanley got suspended for it.
I get that people don't seem to like Brady, but get serious, I'd rather get dropped in a scrum than lose by two goals and drop my 9th game in a row. What are we talking about here?
No suspension and you play on the line you get what you deserve not a popular opinion but I like Brady and Mathew but both get what they deserve from time to time

I know they write that because they didn't drop gloves and square up, but Tkachuks hardly ever do that any way, always turtling and hiding behind linesmen just like in this video. After trying to flip Stanley in the bench, holding the stick, and then trying two jabs with his left while the linesman was between them, if Tkachuk's not expecting to get a swing back at him he's even stupider than we all figured.
I'm definitely not Brady fan but 100% a sucker punch. He wasn't looking. But that doesn't excuse the fact Brady initiated it all then once the refs stepped in he thought he was saved…
I hope he steps it up before the Olympics come around.
