This is a mediocre team … on paper … on the ice … before the season began … during the season …. before the injuries …. after the injuries ….. before the deadline …. after the deadline …. if they make the playoffs …. if they don't make the playoffs …. with Sullivan as coach …. without Sullivan as coach …. mediocre… at best.
The Rangers will have to play at a near 800% winning rate until the end of the season in order to make the playoffs. It's over. Enough with the teasing. This team is not capable of winning ten in a row like Buffalo just did. That's what it would take just to get back into it.
So far the Winter Classic has been the highlight of the centennial season. Besides that, a few sparks here and there only to take a step back each time.
