These are tough guys playing an extremely dangerous game! I am not a big advocate of fighting in hockey and really don't see the logic on it helping " get the team going." BUT I AM SURE THINGS WON'T CHANGE." I always admired Clarke Gillies, tough as nails but never started fights, just tuned in the aggressor. Off ice, he was a comedian, gentleman, and dedicated family man.
From a guy who doesn't have a favorite team and hardly sits down to watch anything including a hockey game, this dudes interview and professional manner makes me want to catch a sharks game at some point in the future. Cool character.
