Congrats AM34! Fun fact, Jonas Hoglund played 325 regular season games for the TML. Mats and Wendel will always be the two best players in the past 30 years and possibly ever. Matthews has been a great goal scorer but that's where it ends. AM34 has to have a big playoff before his name is even mentioned among those two.

Here's hoping that little bit of magic Auston experienced meeting Mats can help him shed the dross from his shoulders, and become the true leader that the Maple Leafs needs. He has massive talent, but I feel he's had trouble shaking the disappointment of the Arizona Coyotes no longer being a team combined with the intense frustration of the 2025 Playoffs. I want to see the man happy, but if he can find happiness as a Leaf, and be a consistent force that every teammate can get behind, I would be more than happy to cheer him on!
