Had me a little worried for a while but nice comeback ! I won't mention who was defending on all 3 Stars goals. Lol ! Monty came up large which is great. Slaf ; Kappay and Ivan are really clicking too. Nice OT snipe by Hutson !
Last two games against upsized defence; the Habs found a way today and got goalied yesterday. This feels like a big adjustment from early season games where big teams/defence had their way with the Habs.
Much better effort than last night… even tho they weren't terrible, they looked "off". The speed was impressive (especially Galley) considering it was a back to back. Glad Monty was decent, still let in a bad one but acceptable if can continue to improve.
So, they get shutout by the Blues and then defeat the Stars less than 24 hours later. I'm frustrated that they lose to a team lower in the standings but, in the big scheme of things, I have to love the fact that they beat a Stanley Cup contender! Also, youngest team in the league and 4 rookies in the lineup, I believe, today.
That goal by Lane Hutson reminded me of the late great Penguin radio announcer Mike Lange-‘He beat him like a rented goalie!’ Ottenger looked like he was trying not to drop his ice cream. 😂😂😂
Looking at the Habs as of late but they have been scoring some of the most exciting goals! Haven’t seen this type of offensive style since the 70s Habs era.
Phil's faceoff wins have been critical for the tie in tampa and today's win. He's underrated. Frigging Bergevin chintzing him over 500k per year. What a moron. Hughes didn't hesitate.

First 🙂
Danno's faceoff numbers are insane, 66.7% on the dot. So much for Lane Train sophomore slump. Les Trios des Jeunes.
Great effort by the whole team! Monty was really good, Daneaut a faceoff master.

Great game. Hutson is definitely next level…. GHG
yesss amazing all aboard the lane train
To be honest, I did not expect Habs to win against the Stars. But they won! Great!
Did Hab get 12 points out of 14 on this road trip?

I really feel they should send Laine packing. There's no place for him on this team now.

Gally played well as well ! ..the Slavonator what can you say about this incredible guy !
3rd and 4th lines stepped up. I think we should stay on the road.

People still sleeping on slaf got more points than Cooley almost same as Austin matthews
7 points out of 10? Not too shabby. Happy for Monty as well.

Kapanen has a knack for getting open. This is awesome. Xhekaj is turning into a reliable d man. His shot is lethal.
