  1. Appreciate the consitent episodes and articles dan'oh! Hope you have a nice few days off-ish untill the next game.. also.. love adding guests!

  2. Letang is my favorite player. Mostly because I think he's handsome. My husband calls him my 'hall pass'. His is Jennifer Anniston.😊

  3. All of a sudden the fan base wants Letang to focus on defense? And Karlsson is a stalwart? Anything that Letang has done poorly on defense has been multiplied by a factor of 10 by Karlsson. Just review the last game against the Leafs.

  4. I could do without this guest reappearing. Constantly using a "we" in reference to the team, and a bizarre moment where he revealed that he believes it has been 7 years since the Penguins have made the playoffs.

  5. Are the playoffs a good thing? A culture of winning and striving to reach full potential is a good thing. The penguins have several young players who would benefit from playoff experience as well.

  6. To back up your buddy there – he was probz thinkin’ it’s been 7 years since the PENS made the 2nd rounddd of the playoffs …
    19-20-21-22-23-24-25
    7 years ⬆️

  7. I think back to, at different times, Dubas, Spezza, and Muse saying how important it was on the developmental side for the players to be playing in meaningful games.

  8. I doubt that we will ever see a team undertake a full "burn it all down" rebuild simply because the NHL's life blood is ticket sales and how long it's taken most teams to do that full rebuild.

  9. Do the Pens really need top draft picks? Since the last Pens' Cup win, what players labeled "generational talent" have won the Cup? Ovechkin, McKinnon/Makar, and Eichel (with a different team than the one that drafted him).
It's not so much about drafting early as it is about drafting well, and Dubas and Clark seem to have that down. Maybe they use the current slew of picks to move up for someone, maybe they make a "reach" like they did for Kindel and Horcoff.

  10. What did Letang do when he what great?
I don't know. He's no Larry Murphy, no Paul Coffey. These days, he's usually trying to chase down the guy he just gave the puck to and watching him score.
