Such an exciting team but the goaltending is still suspect. Monty got the win last night but he continues to give a weak goals. I am hoping the goaltending improves.

The boys are for real. No quit and smiles everywhere. A real TEAM.
We need to stop talking about a 2C. Kappy, Demi and Slaf are doing just fine for now. 2 too lines can score and will score more in the 2nd half. Let's get healthy, evaluate needs when all guys return. Young guys are coming up at some point, so Habs need to see who is the best fit. Anderson, Danault and Galley are needed if we make the playoffs. Bottom 2 lines can be tweaked but Blais, Velano and Texier look solid in their roles. D has been good as well…we are in track.

I’ve been watching Habs hockey since the late ‘50s. I haven’t enjoyed watching them this much since the wonder team of the ‘70s. The next few seasons are going to be a dream!
I LOVE what slav is doing right now, where he is. He is worth 1st line money by being an 2nd Line monster. Seriously, he Demi and Kappy just have been like we have 2 good 1st lines.

Whoever does the scouting for Montreal needs a race, these guys have been picking nothing but winners, on a separate note what’s the word on Patrick laine? Why is he even out right now? Does he just not wanna play?
In any other year not dominated by rookies like Demidov or schaefer or wallstedt – Kapanen would be in the running for the rookie of the year – but holy smokes what a rookie class this year
Hopefully the Habs can keep it going until the Olympic break and then get well deserved rest and maybe get some injured back.
If someone would have told me the Habs would be on a 100 point pace with 6 regulars on IR and so-so goaltending at the halfway point… I’d have told him to stay away from the chocolate at the new shop around the corner.

Your team has no quit, but jesus christ mine quits like crazy. Dallas needs three straight practices where they do nothing but bag skate. And then take turns kicking our goaltending coach Jeff Reese in the sack because he's useless.
Liking the push, it is always there. Monty is making people believe in him again. Our D work is too weak but then I always say that, nobody seems to be listening anyway.

The way Hutson took off to the outside on that OT winner was something, 2-3 steps to full speed. Oettinger clearly thought Hutson would run out of space and have to shoot way earlier. Just wild watching that one.
