Great Trade, I'll be happy from that Demko Pettersson Benning core players lefted?
Respectfully disagree on your view of the Stanley/Tkachuk situation (although I'm perfectly okay with the 1 game suspension) if Tkachuk knows he can't fight he shouldn't be trying to throw a guy into his bench, have the ref seperate them, followed up by Brady pulling on Stanley's stick to bring him back in meanwhile he's watching the play down the ice. He got sucker punched because he started shit and didn't expect the other guy to follow through
Pettersson still has more value than Svechnikov and Demko when healthy is a top 3 goalie in the league. Kotkaniemi would be a cap dump throw in….. it would take Svechnikov and two 1st round picks. Carolina is the team that needs the trade to happen they would have to be the ones to overpay

Pettersson has begun to look like a liability for the Canucks. Moving Demko would be a mistake but he is injury prone.
Elias Pettersson and Demko for Svechnikov, (Kotkaniemi's contract) and YO, SOMETHING ELSE because Kotkaniemi sucks. So a young player or a high pick.
Strome would probably be a better fit in Washington. Oilers are stuck with that guy this season. Demko and Pettersson's contracts would be way over the cap for Carolina it would take 3 players and picks going back doesn't sound like a good deal for the hurricane
Pettersson is healthy again and playing well. Don't trade him. Trade Demko if you can, Boeser, Debrusk whoever.
Pettersen was a player you could really enjoy watching as he was dangerous in every game and if he got on a power play 5-6 times a game you knew he was going to get some points.Now a couple years later and what do you see from EP40? You see a pure sniper that can go several games in a row -AND HE DOES,NT EVEN GET A SINGLE SHOT ON GOAL and that is playing 20 minutes a game and on the 1st power play—and he can't muster one shot on goal? Get real Canucks EP40 is gettin paid a fortune and is doing zilch Trade him for a 1sr rounder and a couple of Canadian forwards that at least come to play and will even get a shot or two on goal.Is he even in top 100 scoring?

Hi Mike, thank you once again for everything you do for us! The effort you put into the videos you do does not go without appreciation. A question regarding the Jason Robertson to the Pens….who was the person who put that rumour out there? Is it a credible person in your estimation? Personally being a Pens fan I've loved what Dubas has done in his short time with the club with trying to rebuild Wilkes, draft capital, and a fast rebuild to get Crosby & Malkin back for another shot at a Cup. I've seen lots of young talented player get drafted and also picked up from trades but what the Pens are missing is an elite type player these young guys can support. Which brings me to Robertson, Dallas doesn't have much draft capital after the Rantenan trade, not sure about their farm team, but I believe picking him up would definitely put the Pens over the hump!! For now and future. Curious to know if it would be a trade or is Dallas waiting to see how he does this playoff run to negotiate with him?

Have trade rumours ever been correct? Nobody predicted Hughes to Minnesota. If this Canes rumour pans out it would be the first time.

Surprised that any GM would want Elias Pettersson and his $11.6M contract, so make the deal with Carolina before they get cold feet.
The definition of 'sucker punch' has obviously changed over the years. It used to mean one that would be impossible to defend against because it was impossible to see coming, such as from behind or behind and slightly off to the side. In other words without any physical or verbal warning.
Now the hockey verbiage is 'a punch that the player was unprepared for despite seeing where it was going to come from and or not listening to verbal warning.'
Sorry. But that isn't and never has been a sucker punch. That's just someone who isn't in the moment. Every time a hockey player so much as steps onto the ice they should be prepared to defend themselves.
If they choose not to, that's on them.
If Brady can't fight he should then shut up and not antagonize anyone.
I try not to buy into the ‘League favours” whatever team but Marchand getting no suspension for that elbow doesn’t make it easy.
