A loss was going to happen obviously. The question is what is the response now that the high of the streak is over.

Beware of the dreaded first home game after a long road trip curse = a loss ! Hopefully with Zucker back in the lineup the PP will start clicking.
Now that the Sabres have finally lost a game, do you think we will see Kekalainen & Bergevin make a trade soon, Quinn for a D man??

Olivier provides a security force we do not have…He provides space and backup for his teammates… The Sabres clearly stayed away from him all game.
It's important now more than ever to NOT let losses snowball. They have to keep their level of play going. Yes, UPL needs to be better, the team needs to score more than 1 tho. 👍👍
The loss is Pegula’s fault, he told them to not give an effort in the last game. If he paid each player a little more money they would have given an effort!
Not playing Zucker was just silly. However, simply put, they aren't a playoff team as constructed. Hopefully this loss gives Jarmo the opportunity to make a trade and upgrade this team
Lindy is scrambling the lines too much
Anyone know what the team save % is when Dahls & Tage are on the ice for a same shift (in all situations)? How bout .8367 save %. Do we have a goalie problem or lack of defensive responsibility from our Olympians? 5v5 they have 15 goals for v 22 goals against for a .8268 save %. Fix that & we don't have to talk about Metsa, Quinn, Krebs or Greenway. But we ignore it cause they score goals.
Why the Quinn hate? Quinn, Benson & McLeod together have 7 goals for vs 1 goals against since they have been paired. While scoring on 14.29% of team shots and even more staggering have team on ice save % of .977.
Just stop Matthew just stop it UPL is a big boy now he's been around long enough. He let at least 2 soft goals in 2 in between his legs which should NEVER happen to an NHL goalie. Was the loss all on UPL. NO. But UPL could have made a game out of it but he did not. I'm tired of making excuses for a sub par goalie which UPL is Enough. And then to top that off Ruff fucked with Levi's head and now he's lost his mojo. Ellis is not the answer period. I suspect if the Sabres test Jarmo and lose more than 2 in a row that he will not be as patient as Adams was and Jarmo will pull the trigger and move some dead weight out. I'm looking at you Quinn.
So PO’d that Lindy played superstition games with the lineup and didn’t play Zucker because of the streak. It was the obvious move especially with the power play being 💩Lindy was like an old lady with his scratch off tickets praying to his grilled cheese sandwich because he took a bite last time he won a dollar.
Zucker’s energy was the RX I would fire Ruff for this if I was Jarmo
Thank goodness you're talking about pulling Quinn! It's not like he's a 2-way player. What is this concern about his psyche? He still needs to grow up and get tough.
Quinn needs to go. Doesn't seem like a Jarmo guy at all, his only value is in shootouts IMO. Ship him out, maybe package him with a prospect and a pick and get a dman.
Have to respectfully disagree with Mathew. Given the history of this team over the past 15 years the next game is 100% a must win.
Tage looked 'tired'? That is generous lol. He looked like garbage imo.
