The Miami Hurricanes delivered a dominant performance against the defending national champions, putting together a complete and authoritative win over the Ohio State Buckeyes. In this video, I break down how Miami controlled the game from start to finish, the matchup advantages they exploited, and the key moments that swung momentum firmly in the Hurricanes’ favor.
We’ll take a detailed look at the offensive execution, defensive game plan, and coaching decisions that led to Ohio State being humbled on the national stage. I also discuss what this win means for Miami’s playoff positioning and how it reshapes the broader College Football Playoff picture.

Y’all who was scared of they offense or Defense it’s because you haven’t watched OsU games. They NOT scary! I don’t see how anyone was fooled but them again GT really got exposed and had people delusional behind them.
THE Red Sweater Vests are stunned!!!
Jordan!!! Super Mario and crew dominated and resurrected the program from the tomb of irrelevance
What a day
Thank you for the amazing coverage all year. STill alive ! Beck gonna take down them dawgs
We are here!
Happy New Year fam 🎉! Let's go Canes! 🙌🏽 We did it. We shut up all the Buckeyes fans talking all that trash saying that we don't stand a chance against their team and they're gonna make another run like last year coming off a loss comparing us to Tennessee and blah, blah, blah. Yeah, whatever! This is a different year Miami changed all of that now they're finding out. I predicted we're gonna beat them by 10 points. I had it 23-13 but ended up 24-14. On to the next round we're getting closer to the NC game 🤞🏽.
Respect!! I been a canes fan since the 80s.. as a 7 year old kid seeing our Co-Host Melvin Bratton and his teammates bully the beloved teams of college football.. endured the roller coaster ups and downs including 2002… love the content and continuing to support the channel.. go canes!! From The Utalk Crew
Been a fan since 2000, was a huge Jeremy Shockey fan and from there I have been a die hard fan!
Let’s gooooooooo canes!!!!!
That was definitely a first down. Also, there was a clear PI that wasn’t called.
"If the Miami Hurricanes get into the playoffs , they will be a very dangerous team"…….Nick Saban.
“Miami being a second home” was such a weird statement considering hes from there. He hasn’t been in Columbus more than two years.
Bain and mesidor are ranked low by ESPN because Mel Kiper hates Miami players.
Was at the Game, and they put the Fans on the Screen.
There was a Guy with an Orange UM Shirt on dancing.
Though it was you 🙌🏽🤣✅
This win was for my dad. I only became a fan in 07-09 during Randy’s tenure. But boy have I’ve only seen us at our lowest. Fiu, MTSU, the disaster in Atlanta (GT), La Tech. It feels good seeing older canes get this monkey off their back. Go Canes!
Lebron James is the GOAT 🐐
Revenge feels so GOOD. I agree this game was necessary for all of us with that PTSD. We had a score to settle and that was done. Happiest day ever! 💚🧡💚🧡🙌🏻🙌🏻🙌🏻
I wonder if Jaden Harris and Colbie Young still think the grass is greener 😂
I been a Canes fan since 84". Being a Miami native. I love all of Miami teams. Been a Dolphins fan since 72" I'm 62. Never stop been a fan, even though it got and get tough sometimes. I'm what u call a diehard. I never left my team, but there were times when I couldn't bere to see them lose. Love my Miami teams. Today it feels good to be a Canes fan.
I was at the Orange Bowl when they won their first National Championship against Nebraska and WHEN they make it to the final I WILL be there again to see #6.
It's all about The U.
🙌🧡💚
1-0 Lets go!
Respect for the truth on building things and representing where you’re from 👊🏾
When the score was 17-14 in the 4th and they got the ball back I felt like I was about to have a heart attack I was so nervous for Ohio State to score
That was a first down they were starting to cheat again there was no need to even review!!
For sure a 1st down
Give me a JoJo Trader over JJ TRAITOR any day of the week.
I’m from South Florida and got to see how much of a phenom Jeremiah smith was since his HS sophomore year. I remember ppl saying he was baby Julio. A shame he didn’t put on for Miami. His whole recruiting cycle it seems like he wanted to go to Miami, but ppl close to him probably thought it was safer to go to Ohio state
Aye Jordan JJ saying “Miami is a second home to him” that annoyed me too but I know him saying that he was trying to get under them boys skin I wasn’t to worried about it though he’s from the crib so he was just talking mess because he would’ve stayed home if we was a better team when he was coming out bruh so don’t pay to much attention to the foolishness he’s a hometown kid that was trolling 😂😂😂
Great recap and analysis. I agree with you 100% about it being better to let them play the game. Yes, call penalties when they are clear infractions, but let the small stuff go and let the players decide the game. This was a massive upgrade over the officiating we had in ACC season play.
