Paul Maurice, Panthers Postgame: Florida Hands Colorado Avalanche 3rd Regulation Loss, Halts Streak

It was just the third regulation loss of the season for Colorado, which had won 10 straight and had a 13-game point streak (12-0-1).

Florida was playing without defenseman Seth Jones.

The Panthers got goals from Sam Bennett and Aaron Ekblad in the win; Daniil Tarasov made 27 saves three weeks after losing 6-2 to the Avs in Denver.

Florida kicks off a six-game road trip Tuesday in Toronto.
