Eichel is worth the money and so is Matthews who'll get even more but what happens with players coming along later like Hischier and Patrick who don't deserve that kind of money but still expect a big payday when it's their turn,it'll be interesting to see what happens. Bob.

I just don't believe that it's right that other teams should be paying Buffalo to buy their Superstar who is ultimately going to be playing against those teams.
Worth it, yes. Could've been a little less but its a decent deal. On the other hand, JT might not sign with NY. He wants a definite hockey arena

Just heard that Dave Strader passed away. I realise I am a few days late with this news though and it probably already has been discussed. I really enjoyed his commentaries with Darren Pang on ESPN. They were just behind my favourites of Gary Thorne and Bill Clement on ESPN but not by much. Real nice guy by all accounts that loved his hockey. Such a distinct voice too. Huge loss to the game in my view. My thoughts are with his family and friends.
Finally lock our stud up guy freaking plays his heart out every game hates to lose and with a healthy is a top 5 points getter!

The TD Garden is great. I went on a tour a couple years ago and it's got a lot more to it than you might think. Obviously not as much history as MSG, but it's still amazing.

Watching on Buffalos salaries the next season they have $18,440,476 left to spend and they still have to resign 2 goalies, Sam Reinhart and maybe Eveander Kane. My point being that they have to get rid of someone. My bet is that they will try to move Moulson but who would take him?

Personally, I think this is a bit premature. Contracts should have things like "$10m IF you win the Cup, $8m if you only make the playoffs, $4m if you dont make the playoffs. BTW, Buffalo is one of the dirtiest cities I've ever seen. That place was disgusting.
I like the Sabres so much, but this seems unnecessary if he's making millions of dollars in his contract. Don't get me wrong he should be good and skilled but is nowhere near as good as McDavid, Matthews, Toews, Crosby or whoever. Unless they're doing good, they won't trade him for another draft pick but if they're struggling they should trade him. Lastly what is ELC?
