Quinn, Byrum, Krebs, Greenway, UPL all trade options. Tuch contract for 8 years at 11 million is a strong no for me. I think you're right John…Don't buy in just yet! Buffalo is a taller team yes…but they are NOT a TOUGH team! If Norris goes down, they will not be a winning team imho. They need a few more TOUGH/Skilled additions that can turn the tide.
Sabres fan here, and the feeling is mutual. When we think of you, we think of you as a Sabre. Now, re:glimpses of greatness….the last 2-3 times it's been a few guys doing the heavy lifting. They haven't been as deep as they are now since they were a playoff team in the 00s.

Benson drafted and made team at age 18 a great two way player, Ostlund, Rosen, Helenius great draft picks, Peterka an outstanding second rd pick they trade to get him at that pick, the only reason they are good is due to drafting well. So many teams drafted guys who never play a single game, Kulich another first rd pick, great player unfortunately out with blood clot
Wings are for real. They are a different team under this new coaching staff. The last time the wings were this good was 2011 or something. It’s not a mistake, I see them making the playoffs and if they are healthy they could do some damage.

Detroit just sent one of the teams bright spots to the minors. Detroit will be for real if they don't have the late February mid March meltdown.
